This month I had some spare time so it wasย inevitable to cook at home daily when I come early from work. I was also cooking for friends but mostly for myself.

Cubes of pork are the cheapest yet delicious option in the fresh meat section in the supermarket

So easy to make these tasty, caramelized on a pan with some soy sauce and sugar

Indian curry and spinach

Old baguette turns into French toast filled with creme fraiche, roquefort and raisins, the other with fig jam.

Another salad

Okay, these are bought ready, I just mixed with Brie and Prosciutto

Hmm meat!

Making asparagus risotto to a dinner party

Many things were cut

Lardons and quick chicken stock

Coloring white asparagus

Oops I burned the bottom of the pot a little... ๐Ÿ™ Didn't have any other pot to transfer

It wasn't burned but had a scent of burning which kinda ruined it for me...

Finished at home

Plated at Jonathan's dinner party

Making blinis because the fresh cheese smelled funny

With surprises

Frying

I love to eat these straight from the pan

Nice weekend brunch

This picture makes me hungry

Veal, onions and goat cheese

I like onions cut thinly with the mandolin, it goes well with everything

Some of the cooking after shopping in china town again:

Noodles with coconut sauce

Why don't I own a wok?

..

Pearl-coconut balls

Filled with something sweet

Making curry

Noodles

Tofu and vegetables

Finished!

… but the eternal question is – how do you caramelize without sugar but with sweetener instead??
