You are invited to take part in a unique dinner party event that I’m cooking and hosting. A “Secret Kitchen” event that happens once a month!

What’s the concept?

It’s simple: giving you the opportunity to taste my cooking creations, inspired each time by the season and mood, while engaging  in a unique dinner party with unfamiliar people. The dinner combines the excitement of new flavors and a completely different type of social event. Only 12 guests per evening, with one common ground which is their love ogf good food. The menu is unique for every event, composed fully by me, cooked and served by a small and friendly crew.

What’s my style of cooking?

I’m cooking seasonal, creative dishes, influenced and inspired from all around the world, brought together by the French cuisine techniques which I studied in Paris. I love trying out new pairings and combinations, new ingredients and techniques from the modern and international cuisine.

Who’s invited?

The rumor go by hear-say: from guests to their friends, family, co-workers and such. It’s open to the public, you can invite your friends too!

And this time?

This upcoming event is about to be the fifth of its series. For every event I create a new tasting menu. When I came up with the menu this time I thought about all these famous dishes and dessert names. You see a name and instantly know what the dish is all about, what’s it made of, what it’s suppose to taste like. What if I take some characteristics of these classical dishes but change the elements? Or if I keep the elements but change their characteristics? What if a dish we always thought about as dessert becomes all of a sudden a main course? My goal in this dinner is that the guest, hearing the name of dish will have expectations based on previous knowledge, but the dish itself will be nothing like what he imagines, only a nostalgic reference of this classic dish.

The event will take place on Friday the 23rd of August, at 19:30 and will cost 250 ILS per person + 10% service charge.

Important: It will only be possible to register as a twin ticket because dishes are served between two guests to share.

The price includes a cocktail to set the mood, all dishes of the 8 course menu (served between two guests to share), wine and coffee.

Note:
1. To secure a place you must pay in advance via PayPal account.
2. Allergies or dietary issues? Contact me and we will try to arrange a solution.
3. Most dishes will be served between two guests.
4. The menu published in advance might change according to the availability in the market.
5. Cancellations policy: You may cancel for a full refund up to one week before the dinner (until August 16th at 12:00 pm), you will be charged a cancellation fee of 20% if you request to cancel up to 3 days before the dinner (until August 20th at 12:00) and later than that – the tickets will not be refundable.
6. Dinner will be held only if a minimum of 8 guests register in advance.

FAQ

Can I order a dish in advance?

As a guest you can’t order a specific dish out of the menu, as it is a tasting menu dinner.

What if I don’t like something in the menu?

Once registration has opened, everyone can read the preliminary menu to get the feeling of what’s gonna be served in the dinner. If you’re intrigued by it and like it, go for it! If not, maybe wait for next month and a new menu. If you like most of it but not sure about one or two dishes – I would still recommend you to give it a try. You might be surprised when something you thought you wouldn’t like, can be actually not that bad or even delicious! I had many guests admitting they would never had thought of ordering a certain dish from a menu, but they were glad they had the chance to try it out because it blew their minds. In the end, not all dishes are suited to everybody’s taste, but this is the magic with a tasting menu, for one night you give up all control of what you eat and let the chef surprise you!

What if I’m allergic to an ingredient, or have a special dietary restriction?

After the registration process completes, you will receive a link with your tickets. Opening this link you can edit some food and dietary preferences as well as allergies. I will try my best to fit the dinner to your restrictions. Keep in mind that the kitchen can’t be sterile and I can’t protect you if you have a very severe allergy to an ingredient. If it can be very dangerous to you, better be safe.

About special dietary restriction: sometimes I can offer you an alternative for a certain ingredient or just take it off the dish, but sometimes these restrictions are hard to follow in small dinners like these. If you eat Kosher, vegan or vegetarian (not eating even fish) – I would not recommend going to an event like this.

How does registration and payment work?

1-2 weeks before the night of the event the registration opens and the initial menu reveals. Everyone is welcome to buy tickets and invite their friends and family to join as well. I can’t save sits so remember that if you snooze – you loose!  Paying in advance via PayPal.

I don’t want to pay online with PayPal! What can I do?

Paying with PayPal is the easiest and most secure way to do the transaction, you can open a new account easily for free. If you have trouble with it and want to pay in another manner,contact me.

The dinner is too expensive for me. 

In order to try and get each event to turn out as I imagine it, it takes a lot of effort, time and money. Ingredients are top quality and my staff gives them all for the night to succeed. If the event is over your budget you can follow EatingCookingFooding in Facebook and look for promotions that come out from time to time.
