As part of my Dinner Party post, I promised to give more detailed posts on each dish I served. The first one is the simplest, the bread I baked in the bread machine. It’s pretty easy to use. The bread-maker I borrowed from Alon worked over-time. I made four loafs of bread, each one different.

Then I put in the machine all the dry elements: flour, milk powder and the yeasts in a dent inside the flour.
In the end I had the following:
80% whole wheat bread
50% whole wheat bread
white french bread
and, Yogurt white bread
Every time the machine was on it’s baking stage the house filled with this irresistible smell. Eating straight away was the most delighting thing. The first trail of the machine I made few days before and the bread was ready at 2AM. I fell asleep in front of a movie but the bipping sounds of the machine woke me. I went downstairs, the smell was at it’s peak. I carefully pulled out the loaf out of the steamy mold and tasted the first slice with butter. It gave me the shivers. Seriously.
